One of my favorite campgrounds. Clean and orderly. Not full hookup anymore, but still a great place to camp. Swim area and playgrounds. Small Hiking trails. On lake Eufala.
Campground host are very friendly, good shaded spots with cement pads. We stayed in a fifth wheel and we have stayed multiple times. Bath houses are clean but small. Will definitely be back
The park attendant on duty was very blatantly rude and I came from florida to escape hurricane irma and after arriving here and after being talked to so disrespectfuly I wished I was home in the dangerous hurricane after being made feel so unwelcome. I was also told that they have caterered to me enough even though I'm paying them to sleep in a tent.. Outside.. Over 300 miles from my home while not even sure if I will have a home to go home to after this hurricane. The park is very beautiful and its a shame that this park attendant is making people feel so uncomfortable and unwanted. The on duty attendant really spoils the nature and beauty qualities of this nice campground with his bad attitude and rude remarks. I would not recommend this campground to anyone because no one deserves to feel like an unwanted guest especially if they are very far from home due to terrible weather circumstances, or what have you.
Great place to get away from it all. Campsites on the water. Sites are roomy & private. Good cell reception. Our Murphy & Rascal really enjoyed the new dog park area. I only wish they hadn't closed one of the sections of the campground, but it was off season when we went. The staff was really nice & very helpful. We'll definitely be back!
Nice, however, not enough bathrooms for # of sites. Bathroom in Pine Island loop is the oldest. Only 1 toilet in men's room. 2 in ladies room. 2 showers in separate room. No hooks in shower which are small but in the outer room. No mirror or way to do hair (Would have to go into bathroom for that). Sites are fairly nice, most with some shade & waterview. The sites at the upper 40's are rather close together. The marina & beach loops had newer bathrooms & nice sites . This campground has no restaurants within 20 miles. In Fairly remote area!
